Hazrath Shaikh Minhajuddin Ansari Kallerawan Charitable Trust Gulbarga was founded in the year 1979 under the precious and dynamic leadership of Alijanab Alhaj Qamar-ul-Islam B.E. (Mech.) with the objective of educational and social upliftment of people of Hyderabad Karnataka in general and Muslims in particular.
The College is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum, Recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The academics is supported by different departments namely Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The College is equipped with latest equipment in the laboratories of respective departments with an infrastructure as prescribed by the university. The computer laboratory is equipped with systems of latest configurations with internet facility. Aesthetically designed spacious and well ventilated classrooms to provide the right environment for learning. Well experienced and qualified teaching faculties good rapport between the teacher and the student.

The college is having separate library & refernce section with well stacked standard texts, magazines, journals, periodicals in a spacious hall and also the digital library facility is available with access to international e-journals. library is headed by a chief librarian with qualification MLISC & is assisted by a chief librarian.
The College also has career guidance cell which helps in placement activities headed by an placement officer for providing career giudance & getting mid-term projects to the students. The academic activities are well supported by EDU-SAT center for conducting distance education programmes using satellites.
“Advanced education is as much importance to the country as building of railways, steamship & battleships” Special Faculty Development Programmes(FDP) & Techinical Quality Improvement Programmes(TEQIP) teaching to get equipped with the latest trends & technologies and encourages the staff to make use of different teaching aids to make their teachings effective.
The College students participates in Inter collegiate tournaments & competitions conducted every year by VTU including annual meet & youth festival. The winners are given cash rewards, medals & scholarships from the college.
The College also organizes various other events such as conducting exams as PGCET, CMAT, GATE etc & also seminars, speeches, quiz, elocutions etc. Teacher-Student ratio is being maintained as per AICTE norms and feedback is taken periodically both from teachers & students.
The College also has hostel facilities for boys only available separately in the campus.
